About the Role
The Product Designer is responsible for crafting end-to-end digital experiences that balance user needs, business goals, and technical feasibility. This role combines strategic thinking, visual craft, technical understanding, and data analysis to build usable, consistent, and scalable products. The Product Designer will collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Growth, and Data teams to deliver high-impact solutions.
Responsibilities:
1. User Understanding & Product Strategy
Translate insights and hypotheses into clear, actionable, and prioritizable design problems.
Participate in co-creation sessions with stakeholders to align solutions with product OKRs or KPIs.
Analyze research insights (UXR, data, internal feedback) and turn them into informed design decisions.
Contribute to product strategy with a user-centered perspective focused on experience quality.
2. UX Design (Architecture & Experience)
Define the logical and narrative structure of the product: flows, wireframes, journey maps, and user flows.
Ensure experience consistency across screens, devices, and touchpoints.
Apply discovery methods and rapid validation techniques to improve user experience.
Integrate qualitative and quantitative data into iteration and decision-making.
3. UI Design
Design end-to-end interfaces (desktop, mobile, responsive) using Design System principles and components.
Ensure visual consistency, hierarchy, and accessibility in all deliverables.
Collaborate with the Design EcoSystem team to uphold visual and technical quality of components.
Adapt visual solutions to cultural, linguistic, and global product contexts.
Promote best practices in naming conventions and versioning within Figma.
4. Data & Experimentation
Interpret behavioral metrics (heatmaps, scroll maps, A/B tests).
Make data-informed design decisions based on experiments and performance metrics.
Iterate designs based on success indicators, qualitative feedback, or experiment outcomes.
Collaborate with Data or Growth teams to identify UX/UI optimization opportunities.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with PMs, Developers, Growth, and Data teams to translate business needs into actionable design solutions.
Facilitate clear communication and alignment between Design, Product, and Engineering.
Participate in QA and handoff processes to ensure correct visual and functional implementation.
Document design decisions and maintain shared workspaces (Notion, Figma, Zeroheight).
Manage design needs and coordinate with relevant design roles as necessary.
6. Documentation & Handoff
Deliver clear, complete documentation (functionality, expected behavior, use cases).
Communicate design rationale: why solutions were chosen and the impact they aim to achieve.
Signal dependencies or technical considerations relevant for development.
Maintain order, structure, and traceability across design files to ensure project continuity.
Requirements:
Intermediate/advanced Figma: interactive prototyping, variables, tokens, components, motion.
Documentation tools: Notion, Zeroheight or equivalents.
Basic HTML/CSS for effective communication with engineering.
UX analytics tools: Hotjar, UXCam, Adobe Analytics, or similar.
Experience contributing to Design Systems: structure, documentation, scalability, maintenance.
